Woljeon Foundation
Woljeon Art Culture Foundation
Established and managed by renowned cultural figures including artists, the Woljeon Art Culture Foundation was launched on April 21, 1991 and opened the Woljeon Gallery Hanbyeokwon at 35-1 Palpan-dong, Jongro-gu, Seoul, Attached to the Gallery, the Oriental Arts Research Society provides theoretical lectures and annually publishes the results as Hanbyeok Research Monographs.
To encourage and to promote talented Korean painters, the Foundation has established Woljeon Art Award, which has been conferred on artists including O Yong-gil, Gim Bo-hui, Gim Dae-won, Jo Hwan, Yi Wal-jong, and Jo Chun-ja.
